Calcitec^® is used for facade clay brick production, as clay has compounds of silica, alumina, feldspar and iron oxides. So it will burn to a brown, pink or red brick, depending on the amount of iron oxide in the clay. The presence of Calcitec^® in the mix will change the color of the brick to a yellow or cream color, which can be corrected by using coloring agents to achieve a broad color portfolio of trendy bricks.
